Late Summer Sanctuary

September finds us enjoying the last of the summer – light-filled mornings, open windows (for now!) and those quieter moments at home before autumn properly arrives.

It’s been lovely to see our new website settling into its stride, and lovelier still to hear positive feedback from so many of you. Your messages are always genuinely appreciated, and a reminder of just how many homes Beaumont & Brown has found its way into over the years.

Behind the scenes, there’s plenty happening too. We have some beautiful new products in the pipeline and a photoshoot taking place this month, which means new ideas, new imagery and, inevitably, rather a lot of bed making!

For now, though, we’re making the most of September and the simple pleasure of creating a home that feels calm, comfortable and somewhere you’re very happy to retreat to at the end of the day.

September is the final stretch of the British courgette season, so we’re making the most of them. Riverford's slow-cooked courgettes with garlic, lemon and Parmesan make the sort of simple supper that suits this in-between month perfectly. Recipe here.

WATCHING — LUDWIG
David Mitchell and Anna Maxwell Martin are back for a second series of Ludwig, and we're delighted about it! Clever, gently eccentric and very British, it’s exactly the sort of TV we want as the evenings begin to draw in...
